The Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association (BANA) is a community-based, non-profit organization committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment, education, advocacy and support for individuals and families affected by eating disorders. We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Registered Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary outpatient treatment team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Social Worker, Registered Dietitians, Nurses and Psychiatry in delivering high quality, client-centred care while contributing to the ongoing development of specialized eating disorder services. Job Summary: The Registered Social Worker provides comprehensive assessment, treatment, case management, and discharge planning services to adults receiving outpatient eating disorder treatment. The successful candidate will facilitate both individual and group therapy, collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, coordinate care with community partners, and support the continued growth and evaluation of BANA?s outpatient services. The ideal candidate is a compassionate clinician who thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and is committed to recovery oriented, trauma informed and culturally safe care. Education: A Masters of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited School of Social Work or a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. * Current registration and good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). * Membership with a regulated health profession college Required Experience: * Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience working with adults in a mental health setting. * Experience providing assessments, psychotherapy, case management and crisis intervention. * Experience working within an interdisciplinary healthcare environment. * Demonstrated experience collaborating with community partners. * Training and experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) * The following are considered strong assets: * Experience treating individuals with eating disorders * Experience working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression and motivational enhancement approaches. * Experience facilitating psychoeducational and therapeutic groups. Key Responsibilities: The Registered Social Worker will: *Clinical Care * * Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions. * Coordinate care with nurse practitioners, dietitians and psychiatrists. * Provide individual psychotherapy and counselling. * Provide ongoing case management and client support. * Conduct risk assessments and initiate crisis intervention procedures when required. * Coordinate transitions of care to higher levels of care through collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to step a client up to Intensive Outpatient Program or to Inpatient are. * Coordinate discharge planning and referrals to appropriate community resources and supports. Outpatient Program: * Deliver all components of the outpatient program including: * Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ? Enhanced (CBT-E) * Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ? Ten (CBT-T) * Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ? ARFID (CBT-AR) * Group facilitation * Case Conferencing * Care coordination * Scheduling of your own appointments to meet a budget of 15-20 client facing hours per week. * Collaborate with the team to develop and revise program material and resources as needed. * Support client transitions to higher levels of care or to other community providers Documentation and Reporting: * Maintain timely, accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation. * Prepare and maintain confidential client records in accordance with professional standards. * Collect program statistics and contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting requirements. * Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement
