Responsibilities Research Design & Execution Support the design and implementation of digital health research studies, employing both quantitative and qualitative methods Assist with literature reviews, landscape research, and evidence synthesis (search strings, abstract screening, reference organization) Draft and revise interview guides, surveys, and screening scripts under supervisor direction Assist with protocol documentation, including IRB submission materials and statistical analysis plan drafts Participant Recruitment & Coordination Support recruitment activities, including screening inquiries, verifying eligibility, and maintaining recruitment trackers Schedule and confirm participant visits, interviews, and screening calls; manage reminders and calendar logistics Serve as primary point of contact for enrolled participants on routine questions, escalating clinical or sensitive matters as needed Track consent documentation and flag missing or expiring consent for follow-up Maintain accurate enrollment and retention logs across active studies Data Collection & Management Administer structured data collection instruments (surveys, intake forms, screening tools) Support data entry into study databases, REDCap, or CRF systems following source documentation practices Perform data quality checks (completeness, range/logic) and flag discrepancies for review Support secure handling of study data in line with protocol and privacy requirements Assist with adverse event or protocol deviation logging as directed Stakeholder Engagement & Interviews Conduct or co-conduct semi-structured interviews with participants, clinicians, and other stakeholders Produce clean, de-identified transcripts and summaries for analysis Coordinate logistics for interviews, focus groups, and advisory calls, including with external clients and site staff Prepare pre-interview materials and manage day-of logistics Build and maintain professional relationships with recurring study contacts Deliverable Production Prepare first drafts of client-facing documents (summaries, slide content, whitepaper sections) for review Format and proofread documents to organizational professional standards Prepare meeting materials and capture action items for internal and client-facing meetings Cross-Project Flexibility Move between concurrent projects — digital health platform evaluations, regulatory strategy support, clinical study pipelines — based on evolving priorities Publication and Collaboration Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences to contribute to the academic discourse. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of knowledge exchange and collaboration. Qualifications Masters or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Digital Health, Health Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline) Strong background in research methodology, stakeholder management, statistical analysis, and data interpretation Demonstrated experience in the design and execution of digital health research studies Required Skills Strong organizational and time management skills Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams Meticulous attention to detail Creative and effective problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Passion for driving positive change in healthcare through digital innovations Pay range and compensation package Compensation for this role will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skill set.
