• up to $700 total travel reimbursement) Local Contract Pay: Up to $1,800/week gross About the Role Are you a Respiratory Therapist who genuinely excels in outpatient diagnostics and prefers the structured, predictable rhythm of a clinic over the high-stress environment of bedside ER/ICU care? We are seeking a reliable, high-autonomy Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to step into a crucial 13-week coverage role at our established outpatient pulmonary clinic in Highlands Ranch, CO. Serving as the primary on-site RT, you will hit the ground running to deliver quality diagnostic testing for our patient population. This position offers immediate start dates and predictable hours with no weekend shifts or call requirements . Key Responsibilities Diagnostic Testing: Perform high-quality Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) and 6-minute walk tests (averaging 11–12 patients per day). Patient Care & Education: Administer oxygen therapy and PAP management according to physician orders. Educate patients on PFT procedures, proper inhaler techniques, and home oxygen use. Administrative Support: Assist clinic staff with prior authorizations for PFTs and related respiratory diagnostic services. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Maintain clear, positive communication with clinic providers and staff to report PFT results accurately and ensure seamless clinic operations. Position Qualifications Required: Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy. Licensure: Active Colorado Respiratory Therapist (RT) License (must be active prior to start). Credentials: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) / Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT). Experience: Proven hands-on experience running PFTs in an outpatient clinic setting (ability to operate autonomously with minimal onboarding). Preferred: EHR Experience: Familiarity with Epic software. Specialization: RRT credential and a strong background in dedicated pulmonary diagnostics.
