This position will have a home base at the Dr. G.B Cross Memorial Hospital. The applicant will play a key role in planned Virtual ER to assist with airway management and other patient care needs as part of the rural health care team. This will require overnight stays at the various Category B sites (Bonavista, Burin) throughout the region.When the applicant is not required to provide service to a Category B site, they will support Respiratory Therapy services at their home site.This position will report to Division Manager, Melissa Goodland and maintain accountability to the Professional Practice Consultant for Respiratory Therapy for professional integrity and practice issues.The successful applicant will work on a 12-hour rotation schedule and on-call will be required.
