The successful candidate's placement will consider qualifications, experience, market norms, and internal equity. What you?ll get to do Reporting to the Manager, Business Planning and Performance Reporting, the Planning and Risk Advisor supports and leads initiatives in the development and implementation of BC Assessment?s corporate planning, performance management, and enterprise risk management programs.This role takes ownership of assigned priorities and actively contributes to the broader development, coordination and advancement of projects and initiatives that support BCA?s Strategic Plan and overall direction. The role also provides analytical and operational support to multi-disciplinary teams across the organization, working collaboratively with staff at all levels and with key partners such as the Ministry responsible for BC Assessment.Other responsibilities include: Provides expert consultation in developing business strategies, directions and plans, and manages a broad range of business/systems projects Develops strategies, directions and plans to address complex operational problems and improve operating efficiency Supports corporate level planning services to ensure effective prioritization of initiatives and maintains a corporate roadmap Leads and manages deliverables that may include business cases, business and operating model design, data and financial analysis, in-depth risk assessments, cost/benefit analysis, feasibility studies and alternative analysis modeling in support of business planning Manages or participates as a member of a team on large scale, complex projects related to technology, policy and operational change Acts as a projec
