Tasks: Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel. Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings. Repair roofing systems. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Repetitive tasks. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
