Job Overview: We are seeking experienced Metal Roofers to join our team. As a Metal Roofing Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent carpentry skills and the ability to work at heights. Responsibilities: - Install new roofs on residential and commercial buildings - Repair and replace damaged or worn-out roofing materials - Inspect roofs for leaks, damage, or other issues - Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations - Measure, cut, and shape roofing materials to fit specific requirements - Install vapor barriers and insulation - Apply caulking, sealants, or other weatherproofing materials - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects - Follow safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment Experience: - Proven experience as a Metal Roofer or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of metal roofing materials, techniques, and tools - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to roofing work - Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour Benefits: * Life insurance * RRSP match Flexible language requirement: * French not required Experience: * roofing: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
