Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Salesforce Developer at College Elementary School District. The Salesforce Developer will design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support district operations, reporting, and stakeholder communications. Daily responsibilities include configuring and customizing Salesforce, building and optimizing Visualforce pages and Lightning Web Components, and supporting Salesforce administration tasks. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to gather requirements, implementing secure and scalable solutions, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and maintaining documentation for workflows and integrations. The Salesforce Developer will also assist with system upgrades, user training, and best practices to ensure reliable and efficient use of the platform. Qualifications Strong skills in Salesforce.com Development, including customization, configuration, and integration. Experience building and maintaining Visualforce Pages for user interfaces and custom functionality. Proficiency in Lightning Web Components for modern, responsive Salesforce applications. Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com Administration, including user management, security settings, and workflows. Solid understanding of core Salesforce.com platform capabilities and limitations. Knowledge of Apex, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs for developing scalable solutions is highly beneficial. Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs, with attention to data integrity and performance. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Salesforce Developer or Administrator certifications are a plus.
