Role: Senior Salesforce Software Engineer Duration: 6-12+ months Temp To Hire Location: New York, NY 10001 About the Role We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Software Engineer who combines technical depth with leadership excellence . In this role, you will design and build scalable Salesforce solutions, lead engineering initiatives, and influence architectural decisions across large, complex systems. You will be expected to operate both as a hands-on engineer and a technical mentor , driving innovation, quality, and engineering best practices. Minimum Qualifications Strong hands-on expertise in: Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Triggers and Async Apex SOQL and data modeling Proven experience working with large data volumes and implementing performance optimization strategies. Deep understanding of Salesforce customization , including objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and security models. Experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud , and familiarity with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) . Strong knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST, Bulk) and integration patterns. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and influence teams . Excellent communication skills and executive-level presence , with the ability to explain complex systems clearly. Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the financial services industry . Exposure to cloud-native application development . Hands-on experience with: APIs and web services Java or other backend technologies Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools . Working knowledge of: JIRA Bitbucket Source control systems (Git-based workflows) Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (a plus).
