Position : Scrum Master / Agile Team Coach Location : Golden Valley, MN (Hybrid) Employment : 6 Month Contract, Extensions/Conversions Possible Pay Range : $50 - $70 / Hourly Job Description: We are seeking a mid-level Scrum Master to join the team of a local medical device client. In this role, the Scrum Master (Team Coach) will operate as a servant leader and Agile practitioner responsible for enabling high-performing teams through effective facilitation, coaching, and continuous improvement. This role focuses on optimizing team flow, removing systemic impediments, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and value delivery. The Scrum Master partners closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistent execution within an Agile framework. This is a hybrid role requiring you to work onsite in Golden Valley 4x a week (M-Th). Must haves: 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar Agile delivery role Bachelor's degree Strong knowledge of Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), and Lean methodologies Ability to identify and remove systemic impediments Demonstrated ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and coach cross-functional teams Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and flow/velocity metrics Data-informed: comfortable using flow metrics and team health indicators Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills Plusses: Experience supporting enterprise or scaled Agile environments MedTech or medical device industry experience Mobile application development team experience Experience managing and/or building metrics and reporting SAFe or Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe SM) Background in technology, product development, or DevOps-oriented teams Key Responsibilities: Facilitate Team Events - - Facilitate Agile ceremonies with a focus on outcomes, time-boxing, and collaboration. Backlog & Flow Readiness Support - Partner with the Product Owner to keep the backlog clear, prioritized, and refined. Coach on Lean-Agile Practices - Coach the team on Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, XP, built-in quality, flow metrics, and systems thinking. Enable & Accelerate Flow - Visualize work, identify impediments, reduce WIP, and improve throughput. Cross-Team & Release Train Collaboration - Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and the RTE to support integrated delivery. Champion Relentless Improvement - Facilitate Inspect & Adapt and promote learning culture and experimentation.
