Role: Scrum Master(Only w2) Location: Chicago, IL - Local candidates needed. Job Description: Scrum Master – Key Responsibilities & Required Skills 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting software development projects. Strong experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Agile project management tools. Excellent knowledge of Scrum framework, including: User Stories Definition of Done (DoD) Sprint Planning Backlog Refinement Automated Testing Practices Good understanding of other Agile methodologies/frameworks: SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Kanban Extreme Programming (XP) Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups Sprint Planning Sprint Reviews Sprint Retrospectives SAFe Events Ensure Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices are followed to improve team delivery and performance. Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team productivity and sprint goals. Monitor sprint and release progress to ensure timely delivery of planned work. Develop and analyze Agile metrics, reports, dashboards, and delivery artifacts. Assess team health and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Stakeholders to manage priorities and delivery expectations. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Ability to understand and discuss technical issues at a high level with development teams. Excellent communication, facilitation, servant leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong organizational and coordination abilities. Experience with JIRA and Azure DevOps is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
