NOW HIRING – Scrum Master (Contract) with experience in Financial Services industry Location: Hybrid – Chicago, IL (3 days onsite) Duration: Long-term Contract $75-80/hr We're seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a large enterprise technology organization supporting a mission-critical asset management, digital platform. The team develops and enhances a modern product focused on digital asset technologies and enterprise-scale applications that serve global business users. This is not a greenfield implementation. You'll step into a mature Agile environment supporting a product that has been in production for several years and continues to evolve through ongoing feature development, platform enhancements, and technology modernization. Scrum Master - What You'll Do • Lead Scrum ceremonies for 1-2 Agile development teams • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives • Manage Azure DevOps (ADO) boards and Kanban workflows • Coordinate release planning and cross-team dependencies • Partner with business and technology leaders to keep projects on track • Remove roadblocks and drive continuous improvement • Coach team members on Agile best practices • Provide project reporting and stakeholder communications Scrum Master Experience - • 10+ years IT experience 7+ years of Scrum Master experience Financial services industry Experience working in large enterprise • Strong Agile leadership experience supporting software development teams • Azure DevOps (ADO) and Kanban experience • Experience delivering technical products using modern technologies (cloud, APIs, digital platforms, distributed systems, blockchain, etc.) • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Experience working with globally distributed teams • Background supporting projects within financial industry • Ability to balance business priorities with technical delivery while managing competing stakeholder expectations
