Scrum Master

Position Overview The Junior Scrum Master will support agile delivery practices within a cybersecurity-focused team by assisting with sprint execution, backlog management, and team coordination activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop Scrum Master capabilities while contributing to an evolving agile environment centered around continuous improvement and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Assist the Senior Scrum Master in coordinating and facilitating agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Partner with the Product Owner to maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories, defects, and work items remain current and properly organized. Support the team in estimating work effort and developing sprint commitments that align with quality expectations and acceptance criteria. Identify potential roadblocks and communicate impediments to the Senior Scrum Master and relevant stakeholders to minimize delivery disruptions. Promote agile principles, methodologies, and tools while supporting the organization's ongoing agile maturity journey. Collect and review delivery metrics such as sprint velocity, quality indicators, and team cadence to identify opportunities for process improvement. Encourage collaboration, accountability, and self-organization across the delivery team while fostering productive relationships with business and technical stakeholders. Continue developing knowledge of agile practices while building familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, particularly within IAM and GRC domains. Qualifications 1–2 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile delivery role. Solid understanding of Scrum methodology, agile principles, and standard agile ceremonies. Exposure to or interest in cybersecurity concepts, with experience in IAM or GRC environments considered beneficial. Ability to work effectively under the guidance and mentorship of a Senior Scrum Master. Experience with agile project management and backlog management tools is preferred. Show more Show less
