Scrum Master

Summary Our client is seeking a senior-level Scrum Master Consultant with strong facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and Lean/Agile skills for a mission-critical modernization initiative. This role will facilitate and coach Agile practices during daily interactions with application development teams to foster collaboration and healthy self-organization. Responsibilities Drive teams’ focus on the flow of value using team metrics. Coach the Agile team on collaborative processes and facilitate the removal of impediments. Facilitate teams’ Agile activities including iteration planning, refinement, retrospectives, demos, and PI planning support. Assist the Program Manager, Product Manager, and Product Owner in identifying and managing issues and dependencies. Train, mentor, and support teams to follow Agile values, principles, and practices. Requirements Professional facilitation and coaching skills at both the individual and team level. A servant-leadership mindset with open/honest communication. Strong conflict resolution and collaboration skills. Problem-solving ability with willingness to identify root causes and work to resolve them. Excellent listening skills with the ability to give and receive feedback. Residency within 100 miles of the Kansas City office.
