Scrum Master Charlotte, NC- 3 days/week onsite Scrum Master Role Description: The scrum master is responsible for making sure agile delivery teams work effectively by guiding them to follow Agile principles, standard, and best practices. Scrum Masters are responsible for removing impediments, managing dependencies, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Agile Process Excellence: -Responsible for facilitating agile scrum, kanban, and scaling standards and best practices in support of product delivery -Partners with product owner to ensure the continuous refinement of backlog, and that sprint goals are understood by the team(s) -Drive Jira Hygiene in support of Automated Time Tracking -Identify and manage intra-product and inter-product dependencies effectively -Coach Delivery Teams -Coach / Train / Guide the scrum team(s) to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Scaling practices -Uses empirical data to help the team(s) assess their ‘Agile Maturity’, optimize scrum team velocity to organizational KPIs and drive continuous improvement to achieve higher levels of team performance -Remove Impediments & Manage Dependencies -Proactively removes impediments to team agility and guide team(s) on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers -Identify and manage intra-product and inter-product dependencies effectively -Stakeholder Collaboration -Drive cross-functional collaboration -Nurture Team Morale and Health (positive/sustainable team dynamics and working agreements
