This role is part of a dedicated cybersecurity team focused on protecting the organization's networks, operating systems, applications, and services. The Senior Security Engineer will conduct advanced analysis and troubleshooting of complex technical issues, ensuring robust system security. This position involves collaboration with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and enhance the enterprise security architecture, making a significant impact on the organization's overall security posture. Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced analysis and troubleshooting for complex security-related issues impacting networks and systems. Manage utilities, policies, and configuration changes to ensure the protection of servers and workstations. Conduct application and infrastructure risk assessments and threat modeling to identify potential vulnerabilities. Implement, administer, and maintain security tools and utilities to enhance the organization's security posture. Develop security procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks. Promote information security awareness across the enterprise to foster a culture of security. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of hands-on Information Technology experience, including 5+ years in IT Security. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline — or equivalent applicable work experience. Advanced knowledge of security technologies such as vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint protection. Hands-on experience with tools like Cortex XDR, BeyondTrust, Proofpoint, Tenable, and Nozomi. Strong working knowledge of security standards and control frameworks such as NIST, SOX, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, PCI DSS, and CIS Controls.
