We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in a full-time, in-person role based at our Stittsville office. The final salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidate's education, experience, skills, and overall alignment with the requirements of the role. Key Responsibilities * Conduct compilation, review, audit, and tax engagements * Oversee engagement planning, risk assessment, execution, and completion of smaller engagements. * Manage file progress and workflow * Providing ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of junior accountants Qualifications · Minimum of 1 year in a Canadian public accounting firm required. · Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business, or a related field. · CPA designation or student would be considered a strong asset. · Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. · Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. · Strong knowledge of accounting principles. · Proficiency with accounting software, TaxPrep, CaseWare and MS Office.
