Senior Accountant Location: St. John?s, NL About the Role Nutra Holdings is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and report directly to the Controller. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while supporting the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a continuous improvement mindset. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to a fast-paced, growing organization. Key Responsibilities * Complete monthly intercompany reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies. * Prepare and reconcile various balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. * Reconcile sales tax accounts and prepare monthly sales tax filings for management review. * Complete monthly inventory reconciliations and investigate variances. * Perform monthly bank and corporate credit card reconciliations. * Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. * Prepare monthly sales reporting files for management review and analysis. * Review monthly expenses for accuracy and completeness prior to management approval. * Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting procedures. * Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned.
