Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

100% remote role, but MUST live in one of these states: FL, MI, MT, NJ, NY, NC, PA, TX, UT, or VA** We are seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting enterprise cloud and infrastructure solutions. This role requires a well-rounded infrastructure professional with strong Azure expertise and broad experience across cloud platforms, networking, operating systems, automation, endpoint management, and enterprise infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can evaluate solutions from a security, supportability, scalability, and operational perspective while contributing to both cloud and traditional infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering Design, implement, and support Azure-based infrastructure solutions across IaaS and PaaS environments. Manage and optimize cloud resources, networking, storage, compute, and security services. Support hybrid infrastructure environments spanning cloud and on-premises technologies. Participate in infrastructure architecture reviews and recommend secure, scalable, and supportable solutions. Automation & Platform Operations Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Terraform, Python, and related tools. Automate provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational processes. Improve infrastructure reliability, consistency, and operational efficiency through automation. Systems & Endpoint Management Administer Windows and Linux server environments. Manage endpoint configuration and device lifecycle management using Microsoft Intune. Support endpoint security, compliance, patching, and configuration standards. Networking & Troubleshooting Support enterprise networking technologies and core infrastructure protocols. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, cloud, connectivity, and performance issues. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve production incidents and implement long-term solutions. Required Qualifications 8+ years of infrastructure engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS and PaaS services. Experience with infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Terraform, and/or Python. Knowledge of both Windows and Linux administration. Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, security principles, and core infrastructure protocols. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of cloud governance, monitoring, and security best practices. Experience with enterprise infrastructure, architecture and design. Exposure to DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation frameworks. What We're Looking For A broad infrastructure engineer, not someone limited to a single technology stack.
