Position: Senior CI/CD Engineer – GitLab CI/CD Implementation Location: Olney, Maryland | Type: Temporary Assignment About the Role: We're seeking a Senior CI/CD Engineer to design and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines supporting enterprise data warehouse migration and cloud infrastructure automation. You'll lead automated deployment strategies, manage infrastructure-as-code, and ensure seamless application, database, and infrastructure deployments across enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated application, database, and infrastructure deployments
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions
  • Optimize deployment processes for speed, reliability, and security
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams on automation strategies
  • Create and maintain Tableau Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and development documentation
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members
  • Deliver daily work journals and bi-weekly status reports Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of CI/CD and DevOps experience
  • Expert-level GitLab CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
  • Strong experience with infrastructure automation and cloud platforms
  • Active security clearance (BI or NACLC Public Trust preferred)
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
