Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead – Cloud-Native Services Company: Limi Technology Co Ltd Location: Seattle, WA (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $120,000 - $150,000/year Experience Level: Senior (5-7 years) Job Description As the Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead – Cloud Native Services at Ethosphere, your primary focus will be developing distributed microservices that integrate with GPU-backed inference endpoints, manage batch workflows using Temporal, and ensure high observability and reliability. You will lead a squad of 2–4 engineers—owning design, implementation, sprint cycles, code reviews, and on-call rotations. Build greenfield systems interfacing with GPU-based inference pipelines, optimize throughput, and embed observability at every layer. Key Responsibilities Design and implement microservices in Go, Python, or Rust. Model and tune PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, and replication. Secure systems with AWS IAM and Kubernetes RBAC. Call and manage external inference APIs with queuing, retry, and entitlement logic. Define and operate Temporal workflows—handling batch jobs, retries, and durable state. Instrument comprehensive observability (monitoring, logging, tracing, SLIs/SLAs). Build CI/CD pipelines with Terraform, Helm, and automated testing. Own on-call rotations, incident management, runbooks, and postmortems. Lead agile ceremonies, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering standards. Enforce best practices: IAM, secrets, encryption, and dependency hygiene. Qualifications 7+ years in software development; ≥3 years in distributed/cloud-native systems. Proven tech lead experience with strong mentorship. Advanced proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust. AWS expert (IAM, EKS, networking, infra-as-code). Postgres schema design, tuning, replication. Front-end skills (TypeScript + React) for internal tools. Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, CI/CD, observability (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana). Practical use of Temporal for durable batch workflows. Skilled at managing inference APIs and slow GPU compute endpoints. Strong on-call, incident response, and security practices.
