Senior Java Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance microservices and cloud-native applications. This role will play a key part in system architecture, technical leadership, and the delivery of secure, resilient solutions in a modern AWS environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java-based microservices and distributed systems. Translate solution architecture into robust, maintainable, and production-ready applications. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate cloud-native services and platforms. Drive technical decisions related to system design, performance, scalability, and security. Lead code reviews and champion engineering best practices, quality standards, and maintainability. Troubleshoot complex technical issues across applications, infrastructure, and integrations. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement of engineering processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, business-critical solutions. Qualifications 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience with a strong focus on microservices architecture. Expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related backend technologies. Strong experience designing and deploying applications on AWS. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices. Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with React or Next.js. Knowledge of serverless architectures and AWS Lambda. Familiarity with API Gateway, service mesh technologies, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect.
