Senior Linux Systems Administrator
Description
Our client is an established software-enabled fin-tech / online brokerage. Their software-enabled investing platform allows uses to trade stocks, ETFs, options, mutual funds, and other investment products. Job Title: Senior System Administrator Location: Queens, NY - onsite 5x/week. Candidates must be local to NYC area and comfortable working onsite 5x/week. Must be eligible to work for any US employer. No sponsorship or C2C can be provide at this time. Required Technology And Skills 10+ years professional experience in System administration & Infrastructure - with expertise in Linux environment Experience wearing many hats and working across data center operations, network architecture, virtualization, and modern DevOps/CI/CID Experience deploying/maintaining/improving virtual infrastructure across enterprise data centers Experience designing/configuring/maintaining LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers Experience architecting and administering VMware environments Experience implementing/designing CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and sing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps Experience deploying monitoring and observability infrastructure solutions (ie Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.) Experience working in regulated environment such as financial services, or working for small MSP where you wore many hats and worked across different areas in system administration and infrastructure Additional Skills Degree in IT, Computer Science or STEM related field Experience working in start-up, small-team, MSP, regulate industry/Fin-tech, or wearing many hats Salary Range: 130,000 - 150,000 base salary (Based on experience), plus 50% - 100% annual cash bonus (225,000-300,000 total cash comp) Benefits And Perks Opportunity to make large impact on small team Opportunity to work in a fast-paced and stable fin-tech Benefits - health, dental, vision, PTO, 401k If you are interested, please apply directly for immediate consideration or reach out to Andrew Zaloom at azaloom@talener.com Show more Show less
