Reporting to the Director, Global Risk & Insurance, the individual in this position will support the departments' objective of protecting Lucid's operations globally in a cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities  <ul> <li>Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers for insurance and risk management related needs or inquiries;</li> <li>Support development and execution of insurance and risk management strategies related to the design, negotiation and implementation of certain insurance programs for Lucid Motors globally;</li> <li>Assist in the identification of risk within the organization and support the business in determining appropriate risk financing alternatives;</li> <li>Support, and in certain cases lead, the annual insurance renewal process including the collection of exposure data and review of terms and conditions;</li> <li>Review contracts and other agreements to determine alignment and compliance with the company's risk appetite and insurance programs;</li> <li>Oversee and manage claims emanating from the company's operations and evaluate insurance coverage applicability;</li> <li>Work with Lucid's insurance broker(s) to determine insurance and risk financing program design and needs, globally;</li> <li>Support preparation and management of the annual insurance budget.</li> </ul> Required <ul> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;</li> <li>Proven ability to apply insurance and risk management techniques in the identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation and monitoring of exposures that may threaten the organization;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to understand business drivers and develop goals and strategies accordingly;</li> <li>Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization and outside company boundaries;</li> <li>Proven track record in negotiation, diplomacy and communications skills in furtherance of business goals;</li> <li>Proven track record in providing consultative services to internal and external stakeholders;</li> <li>Experienced team leader as well as an effective team member, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects;</li> <li>Demonstrated financial/fiscal responsibility including budget management and analytical capability;</li> <li>8-10 years professional experience in risk management and/or insurance industry;</li> <li>Thorough understanding and working knowledge of the domestic and foreign insurance programs and markets;</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related field.</li> </ul> Preferred <ul> <li>Associate in Risk Management or CPCU designations</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><div> Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive <a href="https://mylucidbenefits.com/">benefits package</a> including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; and a 401(k) retirement plan.
