About the Job Title: Senior .NET Backend Developer | .NET Core | Cloud & API Integration Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM Status: Accepting Candidates About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and APIs using modern Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (GCP/Azure/PCF), and containerized application development . This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, and Web API . Build, consume, and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate with SOAP-based web services . Develop secure, high-performance backend services supporting enterprise and customer-facing applications. Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and PCF . Support cloud deployments, infrastructure configuration, and deployment automation. Write and maintain unit tests using MSTest and xUnit to ensure application quality. Utilize Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket for source code management and version control. Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies. Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure code quality through best development practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in .NET application development . Strong expertise in .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, Web API 2.0, IIS, Visual Studio, and SQL Server . Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs and SOAP Web Services . Experience with Docker and cloud deployment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or PCF . Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Experience with Terraform or cloud infrastructure management is preferred. Strong knowledge of Entity Framework, LINQ, SOLID Principles, and Design Patterns . Experience writing unit tests using MSTest or xUnit . Proficiency with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket . Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with OAuth authentication and secure API development. Knowledge of cloud-native application architecture and microservices. Familiarity with deployment strategies, auto-scaling, and cloud monitoring.
