Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support of complex enterprise networking environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale network infrastructures, driving architectural improvements, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity across multiple business locations. This role requires both strategic planning and hands-on technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Architect and maintain enterprise network solutions supporting large user populations across multiple sites. Design, configure, and support LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and data center networking environments. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure and related services. Lead network modernization initiatives, including hardware refreshes, migrations, and technology upgrades. Monitor network performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and capacity planning. Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex routing, switching, wireless, and connectivity issues. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to support business-critical initiatives. Develop network standards, best practices, and technical documentation. Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity efforts. Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical escalation point for network-related challenges. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise network environments. Strong expertise with Cisco networking technologies including routing, switching, and wireless solutions. In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPNs, QoS, DNS, and DHCP. Experience implementing and supporting network security technologies such as firewalls, NAC, and segmentation. Hands-on experience with network monitoring and packet analysis tools. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Cisco certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, or equivalent. Experience with Cisco ISE, SD-WAN, and enterprise wireless platforms. Knowledge of cloud networking concepts within AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting technologies. Experience supporting voice and collaboration technologies. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
