We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building backend systems, APIs, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems using Python. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable solutions while mentoring junior developers and contributing to architectural decisions. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices. Design and optimize database schemas and queries. Integrate third-party APIs and external services. Develop cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews. Mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical guidance. Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and designers. Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements. Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 5+ years of professional Python development experience. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles. Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture. Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis). Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. Proficiency with Docker and containerized applications. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Familiarity with Linux environments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
