Senior Security Engineer

Overview We are seeking a Security Engineer with strong Web Application Firewall (WAF) experience to design, implement, and maintain web and application security controls across enterprise environments. This role will focus on protecting web applications, identifying security risks, and responding to threats across cloud and on-prem systems. Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field Hands-on experience with WAF technologies (e.g. Cloudflare, Akamai, AWS WAF, F5, Imperva) Strong understanding of web application security principles and OWASP Top 10 Experience with security monitoring tools (SIEM, EDR, or similar platforms) Experience with incident response and vulnerability management practices Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS) Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Nice to Have Background in SOC or L2/L3 incident response Knowledge of API security and bot mitigation Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CISM Experience building automation or scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) Tenable experience in a professional environment Show more Show less
