This is an opportunity to join a small, high-calibre engineering team where you'll own major technical decisions, build production AI features, and work on complex engineering challenges that directly impact customers. What You'll Be Doing Design, build and scale customer-facing products from architecture through production. Develop high-performance backend services using TypeScript and Node.js. Build modern React applications with an exceptional user experience. Design scalable APIs, distributed systems and cloud-native services. Build and productionise AI-powered features using LLMs, RAG and agentic workflows. Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver high-quality software. Improve platform reliability, observability and developer experience. Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across the platform. Strong commercial experience with TypeScript. Experience building production full-stack applications. Strong backend engineering skills with modern cloud architectures. Experience designing and scaling distributed systems. Hands-on experience with AWS. Experience building or integrating AI-powered products using LLMs. Product-minded engineers who enjoy owning projects end-to-end. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Staff or Principal engineering experience. Startup or VC-backed company background. Active GitHub or open-source contributions. Platform engineering experience. Infrastructure or SRE experience. Experience improving engineering productivity and developer tooling.
