Responsibilities Designing and implementing features and functionality with minimum dependency on 3rd party plugins Ensuring high performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugins Designing and building the website's front-end Designing and managing the website back-end, including the database and integration. Conducting website performance tests. Troubleshooting related technical and deployment issues Requirements Skill of front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery and back-end (PHP) Knowledge of code versioning tools like Git Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful / SOAP APIs and formats (JSON, XML) Good working experience in building user interfaces for websites and web applications Experience designing and developing responsive design websites. Qualification Professional degree in Software Engineering / Development, Computer Science, or a relevant field Experience 3+ Years experience as a WordPress Developer
