Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities of the Elastic Site Reliability Engineer include: Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise Elastic Stack environments supporting logging, search, observability, and telemetry operation sEnsure platform reliability, scalability, uptime, and performance across production system sManage Kubernetes-based Elastic deployments, including Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK )Develop and maintain automation for deployments, monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflow sIntegrate Elastic platforms with SIEM, EDR, and security monitoring solution sTroubleshoot complex infrastructure, application, and distributed systems issue sSupport observability initiatives including logging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring framework sContribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and infrastructure-as-code initiative sDevelop and maintain operational runbooks, technical documentation, and support procedure sParticipate in on-call rotations and incident response activitie s Qualifications for the Elastic Site Reliability Engineer includ e: 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Operati onsStrong hands-on experience supporting Elastic Stack in enterprise production environme ntsExperience managing Kubernetes environments, including ECK deployme ntsStrong Linux/Unix administration experie nceExperience supporting observability, telemetry, logging, and monitoring platfo rmsFamiliarity with distributed systems architecture and performance optimizat ionU.S. Citizenship requi redAbility to obtain or maintain an active Secret cleara nceAbility to work onsite in Hanscom AFB, MA or Langley AFB, VA Preferred Qualificati ons: Secret Clearance Req uiredElastic certifications (Engineer, Observability, or Secu rity)Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as CodeExperience with SIEM and EDR platforms such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, or Tr ellixExperience supporting federal, DoD, GovCloud, or classified environ mentsExperience with CI/CD pipeline automation and DevSecOps prac tices Show more Show less
