Position #: 9010962 Expected Start Date: August 31, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Battlefords Union Hospital City/Town: North Battleford Department: Mental Health Rehabilitation Nursing Unit Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Social Worker - BSW $35.137 to $42.966 Travel Required: YesJob Description: Under the direction of the program area manager, as applicable, and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker BSW provides a range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a primarily adult community mental health and addiction population.Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Competencies- Computer skills- Communication skills Knowledge & Abilities- Ability to prepare reports in a clear, concise and timely manner.- Ability to provide public/educational presentations- Knowledge and practical application of the Mental Health Services Act and Health Information Protection Act and other legislation- Able to work independently in a self motivated manner & respond under pressure- Knowledge in various intervention strategies for individuals and groups- Ability to identify, implement & evaluate areas of client difficulty- Knowledge of Recovery Philosophy Other Information - Requires a valid drivers license.
