Software Developer

Job Duties Designing and Developing reusability components using Spring, JAVA, AWS Lambdas, RDS. Writing programs by using Amazon Web Services and JAVA technologies using (AWS) like S3, RDS, Lambda, and Cloud Watch, Spring Automate/Setup infrastructure of the applications with AWS Cloud Formation service Developing/configuring caching frameworks using SOLR, Elastic search and HALO Writing Web-based applications using various frameworks and technologies with Angular (JS), Spring, Struts, Java/J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, EJB, SOAP, REST-full Web services) Writing programs using Object Oriented Methodologies and Design Patterns like Factory, Builder, Delegate, Data Access Object (DAO), Service Locator Patterns Developed Custom Java Messaging Applications – JAVA, Spring, JMS Writing modules using front-end languages and libraries using HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, Angular (JS), XML, Bootstrap Perform quality review of peer developers for bug fixes, enhancements using JAVA, Spring, DB, AWS, Angular (JS) Writing programs using XML technologies – XSD, DTD and parsers like SAX and DOM Writing/reviewing SQL programs – Postgres, Oracle, MySql and NoSQL DB Cassandra Full-stack and test-driven development – JAVA, Spring, Postgress, Cassandra, Angular (JS) Performance and query tuning/optimization (App Dynamics) Writing unit tests – Junit & Mockito Configuring tools to extract logs from Cloud watch – Splunk Forward & Kibana Configuring logging tool – log4J Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or foreign academic equivalent, plus two years of experience in the job offered or in Java programming. Travel Note: how often per year, the duration of each trip and the location ( e.g. nationally, in the Northeast, etc.) No Travelling.
