Job Title: Senior C++ Application Developer (CAD) Location: Hybrid (3 days remote), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Job Type: T4 Contract Experience: 5+ Years Rate: CAD 70 to 75 per hour Role Summary We are hiring for a Senior C++ Application Developer (CAD) where the selected candidate will work on a client project focused on developing innovative applications for the Media and Entertainment industry. This role is ideal for an experienced software developer who enjoys building cross-platform applications, collaborating with engineering teams, and delivering high-quality software using modern development practices. Key Responsibilities Build, enhance, and maintain features, components, plugins, and desktop applications for Media and Entertainment solutions. Develop scalable and high-performance applications using C++. Design, implement, test, and maintain software components for complex products and systems. Build and support cross-platform applications across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Write and maintain Python scripts to improve development workflows and automation. Collaborate with software engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality product features. Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and software design activities. Maintain source code using Git and GitHub while following version control best practices. Support continuous integration and build automation processes using Jenkins or similar orchestration tools. Work with artifact and package management solutions such as Artifactory, NuGet, and Conan. Follow secure coding practices and utilize code scanning tools to maintain application quality and security. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software performance across supported platforms. Contribute to continuous improvements in development processes, tooling, and engineering best practices. Communicate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery. Must-Have Skills 5+ years of experience as an Application Developer, Software Developer, or in a similar role. Strong experience developing complex software applications using C++ . Solid experience with Python or a similar scripting language. Experience building and maintaining applications for Windows , macOS , and Linux . Strong knowledge of Git
