You will develop continuous-wave fiber optic systems and pulsed laser systems to test and evaluate the performance of the active optical fibers developed by the R&D team. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform testing and characterization of optical fiber products. Design laser systems and optical amplifiers. Develop models and perform simulations of photonic and fiber optic systems. Analyze, interpret, and present the results of performance testing and simulations. Communicate findings and recommendations to the optical fiber design team. Develop test methods, assemblies, and simulation tools to validate the optical performance of laser and optical amplifier prototypes.
