Software Engineer - C++

Insight Global is actively hiring multiple Senior C++ Developers to jion our team supporting a large DoW Program in Manassas, VA. The selected candidates will bring strong C++ Development experience and participate in a cross‑functional team to evaluate a large, complex legacy code bases and assess the current CI/CD pipeline, to create a strategic roadmap for modernizing the code to enable future code builds. Minimum job requirements include: Active Secret Clearance Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a comparable STEM discipline. 8+ years of experience in software development with proficient in modern C/C++ (C++11/14/17+) and hands on development experience on Linux operating systems and command line toolchains. Experience building and deploying code using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) to automatically compile, run unit/integration tests, and deliver builds for C/C++ projects. Experience in API design and integration, including REST, gRPC, GraphQL, OpenAPI, and contract first approaches. Interpersonal and communication abilities to enable collaboration across development, operations, security, and business teams, ensuring consistent adoption of architectural standards. Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this role so exact pay will vary based on experience, level of expertise and clearance, but we anticipate paying 140K - 210K for these openings, as well as providing a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental and 401K benefits.
