Overview We’re hiring a QA Software Developer to play a key role in delivering high-quality data platforms, products, and integrations within an enterprise data program. This is a hands-on QA role focused on modern data ecosystems where data is the product. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to ensure APIs, pipelines, and platforms meet both technical standards and business value. What You’ll Do Design and implement test strategies across data platforms, APIs, integrations, and streaming systems Embed QA practices into data pipelines, transformations, and platform features Create and automate test cases for data validation, schema enforcement, and API contract testing Execute integration, regression, performance, and exploratory testing Build and maintain automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines Document test results, analyze findings, and recommend improvements Manage defect tracking with clear reproduction steps and expected outcomes Validate observability, logging, and monitoring instrumentation Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to delivery workflows Research and implement modern QA tools, frameworks, and best practices Promote a culture of quality across teams and collaborate within QA communities What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field 4+ years of QA and/or software development experience Strong experience testing APIs, integrations, and data platforms Hands-on experience with test automation and test planning Familiarity with frameworks like JUnit, Playwright , or Selenium Proficiency in at least one language (JavaScript, Java, etc.) Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) Exposure to streaming tools like Kafka or Confluent Nice to Have Experience with cloud and data platforms (GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Airflow) Familiarity with observability tools (New Relic, Dynatrace) Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools CI/CD pipeline experience ISTQB or similar certification What Sets You Apart Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams Experience working in Agile environments Ownership mentality with a willingness to learn and adapt
