Responsibilities Build and ship full-stack product features from concept through production Design scalable backend systems, APIs, and event-driven workflows Develop customer-facing applications and internal operational tools Create and maintain integrations with third-party platforms and external systems Improve platform reliability, observability, and system performance Collaborate directly with customers to understand workflows and solve operational challenges Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure depending on business priorities Help shape engineering culture, architecture decisions, and product direction in an early-stage environment Qualifications 2–5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in startup environments Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js Full-stack development experience, including modern frontend frameworks such as React Experience working with APIs, asynchronous systems, webhooks, and integrations Strong understanding of database design and query optimization Ability to take ownership of projects and execute independently Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills Passion for building reliable, customer-centric software products Benefits Competitive salary ($160,000 - $220,000) and equity package Health insurance coverage Opportunity to work directly with experienced founders and industry leaders High ownership and direct impact on company growth Collaborative, fast-moving startup environment Hybrid work environment with strong in-person collaboration opportunities in New York City
