Job Title: Software Engineer Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States Type: Full Time Our client is looking for a Front-End / Full Stack Engineer to build and enhance a modern, AI-enabled CMS platform. This role focuses on developing next-generation web experiences using a headless architecture. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in modern front-end frameworks, CMS integration, and AI-powered development practices to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain reusable web components and CMS integrations using modern frameworks. Convert design concepts and wireframes into responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces. Build and manage content models, schemas, and workflows within a headless CMS environment. Support migration efforts from legacy systems using automation and AI-assisted tools. Implement innovative features powered by AI, such as personalized content and intelligent search experiences. Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices. Mentor junior developers and promote efficient, AI-driven development workflows. Integrate AI throughout the development lifecycle to enhance productivity and innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-focused, scalable digital solutions. Qualifications & Experience 5–6 years of experience in front-end or full-stack web development. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience working with headless CMS platforms, such as Sanity or similar tools. Familiarity with modern web development principles including responsive design and performance optimization. Experience translating design files (e.g., Figma) into production-ready code. Strong understanding of API integration (REST, GraphQL, or similar). Knowledge of Node.js, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodologies. Experience deploying applications on platforms such as Vercel, AWS, or Azure. Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and web performance best practices. Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., coding assistants) to support development, testing, and documentation. Key Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
