Software Test Engineer

UI Manual Software Test Engineer needed for a Contract Full-Time position working in Raleigh, NC. Required/Desired Skills/Experiences include: Manual software testing UI Testing Desktop applications testing - preferred Documentation and generate tickets utilizing Jira, Bitbucket, or similar DICOM, PACS, RIS, Medical Imaging, X-ray Imaging Windows 10 or Windows 11 TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT Software QA, release process, planning and executing VV test plans, documentation. Software source control utilities and archival tools, bug entry and monitoring systems. Software release process and activities associated, merging codes, constantly checking the targeted features are in the release, preparing install and patch packages. Test-driven development and automated testing frameworks. Scrum/Agile development methodologies. Multiple competing priorities with little supervision. Verbal and written communication skills. Windows applications and integrated development environments, MS Visual Studio. Window OS, Windows API, .NET, SQL and Microsoft software development technologies. Object Oriented Languages. Research, identify and evaluate new VV testing technologies for implementation. Full development life cycle of desktop applications from requirements to launch and hands-on expertise and strong command of core front-end technologies: Win32, .NET, Sockets, OGL/DX, are helpful. C/C++/ C# languages. Object Oriented Design/Programming (OOD/OOP) concepts and design patterns. Performance tuning, improvement, and debugging with debugging tools. DICOM, PACS, RIS, HL7 and Medical IT. Medical Imaging software design and development. Digital X-ray Imaging technology and its applications.
