Entry-Level Software Verification Engineer 📍 Location: Chester County, PA (On-site) Applicants MUST be US Citizens AND local to the Greater Philadelphia, PA area. Any applications that do not meet these specific requirements will not be considered A leading aerospace electronics company is seeking an Entry-Level Software Verification Engineer to join its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering graduates who have a strong foundation in C programming and are looking to launch a career in embedded software. No prior software verification experience is required. You'll receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced engineers on safety-critical embedded software used in aerospace applications. Responsibilities: • Review software requirements and technical documentation. • Develop and execute software test procedures. • Perform graphics, I/O, unit-level, and system-level testing. • Conduct regression and differential analysis. • Participate in code reviews for coding standard compliance. • Support structural code coverage analysis. • Document software defects and prepare technical reports. • Learn industry-standard software verification processes based on FAA DO-178C and DO-254. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. • Experience programming in C through coursework, internships, co-ops, research projects, or personal projects. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn. Preferred Qualifications: • Embedded C • Assembly language exposure • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Exposure to software testing, debugging, or code reviews • FPGA/Verilog or Excel/VBA experience is a plus Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 This is an outstanding opportunity for an early-career engineer to receive mentorship, develop expertise in embedded software verification, and build a long-term career in the aerospace industry.
