Mondex Corporation is currently seeking a *Microsoft Ecosystem Specialist *based in Toronto, to support its international team of historians,?researchers and legal experts.??Working together seamlessly, we help clients worldwide to recover works of art looted during conflict periods, in particular the Second World War. The Microsoft Ecosystem Specialist (MES) will be responsible for helping determine and coordinate the initiatives of the IT department in collaboration with the head of Document Management and the CEO. This will include oversight of ongoing projects, design of new solutions and applications, conferring with and supporting IT team members, global administration of our M365 ecosystem, and enlistment of vendors and contractors for work outside the scope of the department?s capacity. The MES will also have the support of the Software Support Specialist, a direct report who will be assisting with the development, implementation, and management of IT resources. Key Responsibilities: * Design of our Microsoft solution * Administration of all Microsoft services including: * Entra ID, user access, security roles * Exchange and user e-mails * SharePoint?s backend, in collaboration with the internal Document Management Department * Dynamics 365 and other custom power apps * Power Automate Flows * Azure assets * Power Platform * M365 Copilot and Copilot Studio * Management of backups * Planning and leading development projects * Assisting with business process analysis and review * Developing department policies in concert with other stakeholders * Providing support for and directing the Software Support Specialist Required Skills:? * Real-life experience administrating and developing within a Microsoft environment * Experience as a team leader (management, project manager, project lead) * Substantial knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including (but not limited to): * SharePoint * Dynamics 365 * Office 365 * Power Automate * Some basic Azure maintenance and knowledge * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Javascript, Python, or C# (or all three) * General proficiency with the grammar and language of technology * Ability to learn new concepts quickly * Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience * Excellent attention to detail, focus, and accuracy? * Willingness to learn and expand one?s knowledge * Strong organizational and time management skills? * Strong oral and written communication skills? * Must be able to take direction as well as work independently?? Preferred Qualifications:? * Proficiency in shell-scripting * Familiarity with OCR technologies * Knowledge of large language models, vision language models, and local solutions * Knowledge of data science techniques, experience working with large corpuses of text * Ability to research new technologies and integrate them into our workflow, when appropriate * Some interest in and/or experience with work involving historic artwork, or cultural collections? * Fluency or working knowledge of various European languages would be an asset.?
