The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and communication disorders. The Speech Therapist will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication and enhance patients' quality of life. Full Time & PRN Positions Available** Responsibilities Conduct evaluations of patients with speech and language disorders to determine appropriate treatment plans. Provide therapy and rehabilitation services to clients, focusing on improving communication skills and swallowing function. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure integrated care delivery. Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans based on outcomes and feedback. Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and home practice to support recovery. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy curriculum recognized by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA). Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a speech/language pathologist. Experience in conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS); Vital Stim certification is preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment, adapting to varied patient needs.
