Senior Java Developer Jersey City, NJ (Travel to New York City required) We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Spring Boot Developer to join our technology team supporting a leading financial services organization. This is primarily an 80% backend / 20% frontend role focused on building scalable applications, integrating enterprise systems, and delivering seamless client experiences through APIs and online platforms. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 7+ years of software development experience Strong experience with Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and Kafka Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server Experience building REST APIs Preferred Skills Angular Cloud technologies, Microservices Camunda NoSQL databases Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-starter with a high level of ownership Excellent collaboration and communication skills Passion for building high-quality enterprise applications Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and design scalable technical solutions. Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot applications and REST APIs. Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Follow architecture standards and development best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support. Take ownership of work from analysis through delivery.
