Staff Frontend Platform Engineer 📍 Remote (USA) 💰 $140,000 - $190,000 Base + Equity We're partnering with a rapidly growing, venture-backed technology company that's building products used by millions of people worldwide. Backed by top-tier investors and operating at unicorn scale, they're looking for a Staff Frontend Platform Engineer to help shape the future of their frontend platform and developer experience. This is a high-impact role focused on platform engineering, design systems, and developer enablement rather than feature delivery. You'll build the foundations that product teams rely on every day and play a key role in scaling frontend engineering across the organization. What You'll Be Doing Own and evolve a cross-platform design system across web and mobile Build and scale shared component libraries, design tokens, and frontend tooling Drive frontend architecture decisions and engineering standards Lead modernization initiatives across React, TypeScript, and build tooling Improve developer experience through tooling, automation, CI/CD, and AI-assisted workflows Partner closely with Design, Product, and Engineering leadership Mentor engineers and help elevate frontend best practices across the business What We're Looking For 8+ years of frontend engineering experience Strong expertise in React and TypeScript Experience building and scaling design systems or shared component libraries Proven frontend architecture and platform ownership experience Exposure to React Native and mobile platforms Experience with Storybook, Figma, accessibility, and frontend developer tooling Comfortable mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction Interest in AI-assisted development workflows and modern engineering productivity tools Nice to Have Experience with accessibility (WCAG) Internationalization and localization experience Experience in SaaS, HealthTech, HRTech, or other high-growth product companies Experience working on platform, infrastructure, or developer enablement teams Why Join?
