Up to $120,000 | Hybrid | New York City A growing Managed Services Provider is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join its technical team, supporting a diverse portfolio of small and mid sized businesses across the New York metropolitan area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a broad technology stack, leading infrastructure projects, and providing high level technical support in a client facing environment. What You'll Do Manage and support Windows Server infrastructure across multiple client environments Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi and Hyper V environments Deploy and support networking infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs Perform end to end troubleshooting across servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and system improvement projects Automate repetitive administrative tasks to improve operational efficiency Maintain security best practices, documentation, and change management processes Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues What You'll Bring 5+ years of Windows Systems Administration experience 5+ years supporting networking technologies within enterprise or managed services environments 3+ years of Microsoft 365 administration 2+ years of hands on Microsoft Azure experience Experience with VMware ESXi and/or Hyper V Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, NAT, ARP, VLANs, and VPNs Experience configuring and managing firewalls and network switches Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments Excellent communication skills with a customer first mindset A proactive approach and a passion for learning new technologies What's In It for You Salary up to $120,000 Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company benefits Paid vacation and holidays Hybrid working model Exposure to a wide range of Microsoft, cloud, virtualization, and networking technologies Opportunity to lead infrastructure projects and expand your technical expertise Collaborative team with clear opportunities for career progression
