We are seeking a Windows System Administrator/Engineer to support and maintain client Windows server environments. This role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and ensuring overall system stability. This is a hands-on, client-facing position responsible for resolving escalated issues and maintaining secure, high-performing infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Provide L2 support for Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) Troubleshoot and resolve OS, performance, and stability issues Apply monthly patches and deploy updates in line with change management Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across server environments Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and authentication services Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes Monitor systems and proactively address risks or degradation Own escalated incidents through resolution and meet SLA targets Document issues, solutions, and standard operating procedures Produce clear, client-ready technical documentation and findings summaries. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or technical consulting. Hands-on experience supporting: Windows Server OS Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy Patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Intune, or similar) Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across identity, virtualization, and storage layers. Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to clients. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field OR an Associate’s degree (AA/AS) with equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with VMware or Hyper-V Exposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments Familiarity with security and monitoring tools (e.g., Defender, Tenable) Microsoft certifications (MCSA, AZ-104, Security+) Experience supporting multi-site or hybrid environments.
