System Administrator

Position: System Administrator II Location: Hybrid (supporting NOAA DSRC, Boulder, CO) Terms: Full Time Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of hands-on systems administration experience in a networked enterprise environment. Experience with macOS administration, Jamf Pro, and Apple Business Manager. Working proficiency with UNIX/Linux and Windows systems administration. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals. Experience managing user accounts, access controls, and password administration. Experience performing system backups, restores, and data integrity verification. Ability to work independently under general supervision and manage assigned priorities. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation. U.S. Citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with BigFix, PDQ Suite, Graylog, and enterprise monitoring tools. Experience with Druva or comparable enterprise backup solutions. Knowledge of Federal cybersecurity frameworks including FISMA, NIST 800-53, and RMF. Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools and remediation workflows. Experience supporting scientific research or research computing environments. Active Directory administration experience. CompTIA Security+, Linux+, or equivalent technical certifications.
