Test Engineer (API/Healthcare)

The role is fully remote and part of a fast-paced, technology-forward delivery environment. Accountabilities In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of API-based healthcare integration systems through structured testing and validation activities. Your core responsibilities include: Executing comprehensive API and integration testing for interoperability solutions such as CRD, DTR, PAS, Member Access, and payer-to-payer services Designing, developing, and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test data for FHIR-based healthcare integrations Validating APIs against business rules, CMS regulations, and Da Vinci Implementation Guides Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects while collaborating with development teams for resolution Supporting validation of data mappings, integration workflows, and end-to-end system behavior Performing API testing using tools such as VS Code and AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., Copilot) Ensuring overall system quality, accuracy, and compliance within healthcare data exchange processes Requirements This position requires strong QA experience with API testing, ideally within healthcare or regulated environments, along with solid analytical and technical skills.
