Title: Test Engineer IV Pay Range: $85.00 - $94.25/hourly Location: Fremont, CA Job Type: Contract Length: 24 months (chances for conversion/extension Worker Category: Hybrid Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week Required Skills Test Engineering Troubleshooting Complex Systems and Equipment Product Development Testing Manufacturing Test Processes Test Fixture Design Diagnostic Program Development Test Procedure Development Equipment Validation Preferred Skills Automated Test Systems Failure Analysis Root Cause Investigation Process Improvement Data Analysis Cross-Functional Engineering Support Position Summary Design, develop, and implement cost-effective test methods for systems and equipment used in product development and manufacturing. Develop and execute test strategies to validate product performance, reliability, and functionality. Create diagnostic programs, test procedures, and technical specifications for new products and equipment. Design and support test fixtures, tooling, and specialized test equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system-level issues during development and manufacturing activities. Support product qualification, verification, and validation testing. Plan labor requirements, schedules, equipment utilization, and testing resources for engineering projects. Analyze test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions and product improvements. Work with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with engineering and manufacturing standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred. Experience developing and executing test plans for complex systems and equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in engineering and manufacturing environments. Experience designing test fixtures and diagnostic tools. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI), product development, or manufacturing operations is preferred. Strong communication and project coordination skills.
